• Built and Expanded the NLR Senior Center with over 13,400 members

• Increased NLR Police Department to nearly 200 Officers, acquired and renovated Police Admininstration Building and opened 4 New Sub-Stations
• Expanded Burns Park Golf Course, built new skateboard Park, built championship Tennis courts, championship Soccer fields, championship Baseball and Softball fields and stadium
• Built Arkansas Maritime Museum
• Built Dickey Stephens Baseball Field with with now 2008 Texas League champions Arkansas Travelers
• Built Alltel Arena
• Renovated Riverfront Park
• Built Trolley System
• Led the City through the disastrous ice storm of 2000 when 60% of residents power out, had power restored faster than any city
• Supported the establishment of the Police Athletic League
• Brought Timex, Ben E. Keith, Glazer’s and Alliance Parts distribution centers to NLR
• Expanded Laman Library
• Built Sherman Park Pool and Bathhouse
• Started NLRTV with NLR High School and Comcast
• Restored and beautified Park Hill street scape
• Widened Pike Avenue after 20 year delay
• Widened McCain Avenue Bridge to relieve congestion at Shopping Centers and widened East McCain, West McCain and 47th Street
• Built the largest system of bicycle and jogging trails in Arkansas
• Created the Argenta CDC and Main Street Argenta which have  renovated downtown residences and revitalized business activity
• Started and maintained FREE Leaf Pick Up
• Built I-440 Industrial Complex
• Kept Baptist Memorial Hospital in NLR
• Built the Historic Streetscape Program on Main Street
• NLR named Volunteer Community of the Year in Arkansas several years
• Installed artificial turf on running track (available to citizens) at NLR High School Football Stadium
• Fixed NLR Streets and made them the best in Arkansas
• Oversaw several restorations and improvements to the Old Mill
• Established the “Drainage Improvement Fund” and “City Sidewalk Program”
